Modification to the call for application to the National PhD Programme in Artificial Intelligence of the University of Pisa
In compliance with Rectoral Decree no. 76412 of 1 July 2021, the following amendments of the PhD grants’ details have been made to the annexed Form of the call for application and to Annex B, to be filled in to express preference regarding the venue and any specific research topic related to the available PhD grants:
- supplement to the PhD grant co-financed by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and by the Ministry of Universities and Research - MUR through FFO funds on the topic “New accurate neural architectures and new semi-supervised models with massive use of HPC for understanding videos about people, with potential applications related to society, e-commerce, Made-in-Italy and digital humanities”.
- elimination of the PhD grant financed by Open Fiber S.p.A. on the topic "_Study of the application of machine learning techniques and reinforcement learning to acquire the behaviour of customers and network services of an infrastructural telecommunications operator, aimed at the dynamic optimization in the resources allocation in processes, in particular delivery and assurance", to launch a specific selection for the PhD grant allocation.
Amendments will be personally notified to the applicants having applied before the issuing of the new call for application to allow them to benefit from the aforementioned amendments.
